BePure is a holistic health and nutrition company founded by leading Clinical Nutritionist, Ben Warren. Every day we are striving to provide people with the tools, education, inspiration and support they need to find optimal health and live energetic happy lives.
We have big plans for 2018 that will see us opening a lab, bringing new faces into our research, lab testing and discovery teams and finding more evidence-based answers than ever before to the health questions that our clients and customers struggle with on a daily basis.
On this note, we are hiring for a new Research Assistant to join our research team based in Hawkes Bay.
WHY WE NEED YOU:
The Research Assistant will work as part of our research team, likely developing into an expert in a particular area of study such as the microbiome, hormones, micronutrients or another field. The research team is led by our Clinical Director, Ben Warren, and the Research Assistant will support him with his studies, as well as staying on top of the latest scientific evidence to support BePure wellness protocols and education materials.
WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING:
- Researching various topics and reporting directly back to the Clinical Director or clinical team;
- Provide support and guidance to Holistic Health Consultants on the latest scientific evidence to assist them with their client care;
- Assistance in the running of clinical trials through the BePure Clinic;
- Assisting with day-to-day Clinic and BePure Operations as required.
- Take part in ongoing professional development and training.
SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE YOU'LL NEED:
- A science based degree, ideally with honours;
- Be able to write scientific articles ensuring they are fully referenced;
- A passion for health, utilising natural health principles;
- A passion to make a difference in the world;
- A 'can do,' solution-based attitude;
- Be a team player working towards the greater good;
- Be based in Hawkes Bay, or willing to relocating to work with our clinical team and in close proximity to our lab.
